The Professional Services division of ettain group is seeking to add a SharePoint IT Professional to our team. Our ideal candidate must be hardworking, flexible, knowledgeable, and a team player. We are seeking an individual with experience in Microsoft centric environments who enjoys working with the latest technology and using hardware/software to solve organizations business challenges.
The SharePoint IT Professional will join a dynamic and brilliant team that have several exciting projects. The SharePoint IT Pro will be responsible for supporting and implementing the deliverables of projects that are required by the project and clients' needs. Duties include: Configuring SharePoint and supporting software, Configuring Hardware, recommending best practices, and providing infrastructure future roadmaps. Local travel will be required. Travel outside of the local area is possible.
The following is required for this role:
Technical:
· Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Administration
· Knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003 and 2008)
· Knowledge of Client Operating Systems ( XP, and Windows 7)
· Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
· Knowledge of Hyper-V Virtualization
· Understanding of Server hardware
· Understanding of Disaster Recovery principles
· Understanding of High Availability and Data Redundancy
· Understanding of Infrastructure hardware (servers, firewalls)
· Understanding of Common network fundamentals (load balancing, etc…)
Personal:
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Good Consultative skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to work independently while being pro-active
The following is not required for this role, but desired:
· Microsoft certifications
· OCS Knowledge (or willingness to learn it)
· Understanding of SQL Reporting Services 2008 configuration
· Knowledge of Rights Management Server administration
· Knowledge of ISA Server 2006 administration
