ettain group has an immediate direct hire opening for a Senior/Lead .NET Developer for our education client in Herndon, VA. This is a small company partnering with Microsoft to develop web applications in C# ASP.NET to facilitate K-12 learning. Work is fast paced and dress is casual.

The Senior/Lead Developer will lead a team of 3. Responsibilities will include meeting with clients, consuming requirements, and implementing code in an aggressive timeline schedule. This position is a lead role but will require 65-70% of time writing code.

Experience Required:

• 5 years .NET 2.0 and 3.5 experience in C#
• N-Tier architecture experience and implementation in .NET
• Strong understanding of ADO .NET
• 5 years SQL Server experience (creating relational databases, queries and stored procedures)
• Web Service creation and consumption using the .NET framework
• XML and XSLT
• Front-end .NET Development using .NET controls and user controls
• JavaScript and AJAX
• Ability to work with product development to understand requirements and translate into code
• Ability to lead a team of 3 developers
