ettain group Expands with Acquisition of Raleigh Firm

CHARLOTTE, NC (September 16, 2002) - In the latest in a series of expansion moves, ettain group has acquired the business of Raleigh, NC-based professional services firm Beacon Commerce. Beacon's service offerings and existing client base integrate well into ettain group's application development, technology staffing, strategy, package selection and managed services offerings. The primary components of the agreement are the intellectual capital, experience and expertise of Beacon CEO Major Lackey (no relation to ettain group CEO Mac Lackey) and Beacon CTO Clarence Fisher. With this acquisition, ettain group enhances its growing strategy, business development and delivery teams with two proven technology professionals.

Fisher will serve as an ettain group Solutions Architect, supporting both the Charlotte and Atlanta offices out of Greenville, SC. Beacon's clients will continue to be served by ettain group.
